The Kiwanis Club of Tryon members Marianne Carruth, Aaron Green, Andy Millard and Janet Sciacca attended the award reception for the Be Inspired Grant at Tryon Fine Arts Center recently.
The Kiwanis Club is a sponsor of the BIG program which awards mini-grants to teachers from area schools. This educational program supports creativity in the classroom. Winning teachers use the funds for supporting the integration of arts into the curriculum.
