Wolverine football fundraiser is Aug. 10 at Caitlyn Farms

MILL SPRING—Local residents and Wolverine football lovers are invited to the second annual 12th Man Kickoff Celebration soon. 

This year’s fundraiser will be held at Caitlyn Farms on Aug. 10. 

There will be food, prizes and music at the event. 

The money raised for the 12th Man is used to provide the facilities and equipment to operate Polk County High School’s football program. 

There will be a $1,000 cash prize as well as food and drinks provided by Mountain View BBQ. Live music will be provided by Johnny Edney & Friends. 

There will also be door prizes and a silent auction as well as Head Football Coach Bruce Ollis speaking about this season’s outlook. 

Tickets for the event can be purchased at Mountain View BBQ and Wolverine Pizza, both located in Columbus.
