Evan Jones of Tryon recorded his first hole-in-one on Wednesday at Links O’Tryon in Campobello. 

Jones aced the par-3, 129-yard fourth hole at the course using a pitching wedge. He also recorded an eagle on the 13th hole and finished with a round of 75. 

Jones was playing the course with his grandfather, Hub Arledge.
