The 68th annual National Day of Prayer was celebrated on the Polk County Courthouse steps Thursday at 12:20 p.m. Many residents attended and participated in the National Anthem, the Pledge of Allegiance and several prayers and hymns. Rev. Hubert Street led the songs, with prayers offered by Rev. Phil Bailey, Rev. Gary Curtis, David Riddle, Rev. John Roberts, Rev. Warren Elliott, Rev. Brent Frady, Rev. Peter McDonald and Rev.
