Silver Travis Band opens the Sunset Series at Tryon Fine Art Center on Thursday, May 2. The Spartanburg, SC-based southern rock band has a combined musical history of over 40 years and will celebrate the release of their new CD Traveler at Thursday’s performance. The music starts at 6:30 p.m. with opening artist Woody Cowan. 

  

To keep the southern feel going, the Sunset Series will offer a special sampling of southern beers from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mountain View BBQ will have a food truck onsite for families to grab dinner while they enjoy a great concert and a beautiful sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Peterson Amphitheater.
