In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, with Judge Bob Brady presiding, 91 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following were convicted of a crime:

Ruth Anne Greene was convicted of level-five driving while impaired. Greene was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Jason Lee Moore was convicted of two counts of reconnect utility. Moore was sentenced to two-years unsupervised probation and court costs.

John Philip Zink was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Zink was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
