Foothills women have a chance to come together for an afternoon of conversation at the inaugural “I Am” event.

A new partnership between Tryon Fine Arts Center, St. Luke’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation, I Am features conversations on health, creativity and wellness, led by women, for women. The first of three planned afternoons, the I Am program will kick off from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday.

Speakers will include Dr. Lisa Broyles, of Saluda Family Medicine, discussing “Setting Healthy Boundaries.” New York City-based playwright Annie Evans will share her take on being an artist while being a “sandwiched” caregiver. Amanda Aiello, an accomplished chef, will explore making healthy, local food choices with a demonstration and tasting.
