Polk County District Court results – Dec. 19, 2018

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, with Judge W. Hughes presiding, 141 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following were convicted of a crime:
Alamir Al-Fatihah was convicted of level-five driving while impaired. Al-Fatihah was sentenced to 12-months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $150 fine and court costs.
Matthew Joseph Bell was convicted of assault on a female. Bell was sentenced to 10 days in jail, with credit for 10 days.
Bobby Joe Howard Gibson was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Gibson was fined $50 and court costs.
Mario Albert Gonzalez was convicted of failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Gonzalez was sentenced to 10 days in jail, with 10 days of credit.
Carla Brooke Goode was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Goode was fined $10 and court costs.
Terry Benjamin Jackson was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Jackson was fined $25.
Justin Daniel Kuxhouse was convicted of failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Kuxhouse was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit.
Breyauna Nehemi Lynch was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lynch was fined $100 and court costs.
Donald Todd Morgan was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Morgan was fined $40 and court costs.
Tiffany Lynne Nash was convicted of failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Nash was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit.
Josh Evan Thomsen was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Thomsen was fined $100 and court costs.
Diandra Janel Watts was convicted of unsafe movement. Watts was ordered to pay court costs.
