Polk County senior Alex Romano received the North Carolina Farm Bureau Sportsmanship Award at the conclusion of the 2018 volleyball season. Romano received the award along with Falls Lake Academy’s Chase Teal prior to the 1A state championship match in November. One player from each state finalist earned selection for the award.
