Polk County District Court results — Oct. 31 , 2018

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 102 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following were convicted of a crime:
Crystal Jean Barnett was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Barnett was fined $95 and court costs.
Jennifer Nicole Dixon was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Dixon was fined $100 and court costs.
Wayne Michael Gabaree was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Gabaree was fined $50 and court costs.
Jordan Eli Langburt was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Langburt was fined $90 and court costs.
Marshall Alan Pye was convicted of two counts of resisting public officer and breaking or entering. Pye was sentenced to 75 days in jail with credit for time served.
Thomas Leo Stone V was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Stone was fined $50 and court costs.
Randall K. Wellborn was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Wellborn was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
James Donald Wilkie II was convicted of no operator’s license. Wilkie was fined $50 and court costs.
