Don Mintz Builders and Mountain View Baptist Church are collecting donations for those affected by Hurricane Florence. 

Those interested in making a monetary donation may make checks out to “Mountain View Baptist Church.” The trailer full of supplies will leave for affected areas by Wednesday, so donations are needed before then.  

All donations can be dropped off at Don Mintz Builders, 133 E. Main St., Saluda. 

If the trailer is not open, those leaving donations may leave them on the front porch of Don Mintz Builders. Monetary donations can be slipped through the slot on the front door.

Suggested items include:

• Water

• Nonperishable items

• Paper products

• Toiletries/hygiene items

• Baby formula, diapers, wipes and baby powder

• Cleaning supplies
