Polk JV volleyball notches straight-set victory at Mitchell

Polk County’s junior varsity volleyball squad notched a 2-0 win Tuesday over Mitchell in a Western Highlands Conference match in Ledger.
The Wolverines improved to 7-5 overall, 3-0 in conference play with the 25-13, 25-23 victory.
Rachael Davis had six kills and six digs for Polk County, with Belen Akers finishing with eight digs and two kills. Kylee Mullis had three kills and five aces, as Polk County served 16 aces.
Rollins Carter had nine digs and Emmie McDowell had 15 assists and three aces.
The Wolverines will return home Thursday to host Mountain Heritage.
