The newly renovated Greenlife Inn at the Mimosa in Tryon will host a “Dirty Dancing Weekend” on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 24 and 25.

The weekend will be held in conjunction with the annual Dirty Dancing festivities at Lake Lure. Greenlife Inn at the Mimosa will offer packages for lodging, breakfast, swag bags, limo transportation (with beverages) to and from the scheduled events at Lake Lure, both Friday and Saturday. The inn will also be offering packages for transportation/beverages, swag bags (excluding lodging), geared for locals who want the experience, but do not want the hassle of driving, organizers said.
