The 19th season of Tryon’s Summer Tracks will continue on Friday with The Paper Crowns Electric Band.

All shows begin at 7 p.m. at Rogers Park in Tryon. In case of rain, the concerts will move across the street inside the Tryon Fire Department.

The Paper Crowns’ Spiro and Nicole Nicolopoulos are a duo on the Southeast music scene. For Friday’s concert, they will return to their jam and psychedelic roots with their full-on electric six-piece ensemble — The Paper Crowns Electric Band — which will feature a medley of blues, Southern rock, American folk and jazz, gospel and funk.

All Summer Tracks concerts are free, though a voluntary donation at the gate is encouraged. Audience donations along with sponsorships of local businesses and individuals make the shows possible, organizers said.

Summer Tracks is produced by the town of Tryon in affiliation with Peter Eisenbrown, of Blockparty Productions.
