The public is invited to attend an opening of the Thursday Painters Art Exhibit from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 27, at the Depot Room.
This group of women has met and painted weekly in Tryon since 2009.
Led by Patricia Cole Ferullo, this group of water color artists is preparing to present an exhibit of their recent works. The paintings cover the spectrum from representational to abstraction, and represent the artists’ style and interpretation of creative tasks presented in their class.
The six artists are Joan Feagan, Linda Byington, Harriet Spencer, Susan Hopps, Patty Holl and Anne DeSutter.
The Depot Room is located at 22 Depot St., Tryon, and the art can be seen from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Paintings will be on display until Aug. 31.
Guests are asked to use the deck entrance.
