Barrie Heinzenknecht and Tom Appleton, representing Kairos Prison Ministry, were guest speakers at Kiwanis on Wednesday, July 11. Kairos Prison Ministry is a nondenominational ministry dedicated to building Christian communities within prisons. Volunteers serve inside prisons on weekends, and contributions are accepted for baking cookies, providing meals, helping provide employment after leaving prison and offering prayers.
