Polk County Cooperative Extension’s 4-H program will offer kids cooking classes later this summer. The first class is for youth ages 8-10, and will run July 30 through Aug. 1. Another class will be offered for youth ages 11-18, and will take place Aug. 6-8. The kids will be picking food from the garden and preparing a different meal to enjoy every day.
