On Sunday, July 22, the Partnership for Children of the Foothills for Pop Up Play Polk will host a free, child-led afternoon of imagination, creativity and spontaneous play.
Kids will have the opportunity to experience the freedom of directing their playtime. Whether building forts with cardboard boxes, or journeying to the moon on a spacecraft made of pool noodles and imagination, kids and parents alike will revel in time spent truly playing together, representatives said.
Adults must accompany kids. The event will be Sunday, July 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Tryon Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2820 Lynn Road, Tryon. For more information or to RSVP, people may call 386-481-8215.
