Steps to HOPE had a tent and table full of purple in a sea of red, white, and blue at last week’s Fabulous Fourth celebration in Columbus.
During the event, visitors were given the opportunity to speak to representatives about the services offered by Steps to HOPE and to pick up some purple goodies and information about the agency, Second Chance Thrift Store and what is being done to end domestic violence and sexual assault in the community.
Outreach programs are designed to be approachable, interactive and fun, so that people will know they can always find a friendly face and help at Steps to HOPE, representatives said.
Steps to HOPE is the domestic violence and sexual assault center located in Columbus, which serves western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.
Those who are being abused or know someone who is, or those who want to sponsor or help with a program at Steps to HOPE may call 828-894-2340.
