Tryon Fire Department report

During the month of June 2018, the Tryon Fire Department responded to a total of 103 calls.

There were three fire calls, including one structure fire, one rubbish fire and one cancelled structure fire call. Calls also included 12 hazardous conditions, three motor vehicle accidents, two aircraft standbys, one powerline down and 20 public service calls. The Tryon Fire Department assisted local and state government on 14 calls, and law enforcement once. There were 41 calls needing emergency medical services, one false medical alert and one dispatched and cancelled medical call. First responders also responded to three false smoke detector activation calls and had one forced entry to gain access to person call.
