Western Carolina University has announced its roster of new graduates and dean’s/chancellor’s lists for spring semester 2018.

The university conferred degrees on 1,607 students who completed their studies during the 2018 spring semester:

• Jamie Dianne Greene, of Columbus, Bachelor of Science/nursing

• Jennifer Lee Murray, of Columbus, Bachelor of Science/nursing

• Jairo Nevarez, of Columbus, Master of Science

• Sydney Brooke Anderson, of Saluda, Bachelor of Arts

• Savannah J Marino, of Tryon, Master of Science

• Alyssa Elaney Montgomery, of Tryon, Bachelor of Science

A total of 2,562 WCU students have been named to the dean’s list for spring semester, and 1,423 of those students also were named to the chancellor’s list, an additional designation of high academic achievement at the university.

• Sydney B. Price, of Saluda, chancellor’s list

• Savannah B. Robbins, of Columbus
