During the month of May, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 573 calls for service.

There were seven felony arrests, 19 misdemeanor arrests and 30 citations issued. Forty males and 18 females were booked, for a total of 58 inmates acquired during the month of May.

Officers completed 1,036 resident checks, 2,267 business checks and 1,870 church checks. They also served 77 civil papers and 18 criminal papers. Officers patrolled 24,011 miles.
