Tryon residents Vickie Wood (left) and Lee Heelan, Cleghorn Golf & Sports Club members,  traveled to Lake Lure last weekend to attend the CGA one-day tournament at Rumbling Bald  and Apple Valley. Heelan was victorious at both tournaments, winning low gross on both Saturday and Sunday.  Wood was low net winner at Apple Valley on Sunday. (Submitted by Linda Lee Reynolds)
