Columbus Police Department Report

During the month of April, the Columbus Police Department answered 438 calls for service.

There were two felony arrests, 10 misdemeanor arrests, one driving while impaired arrests and two fugitives arrested.

There were 55 speeding citations, seven no operator’s license, two driving while license revoked, nine drug charges, two uninsured motorists, five careless and reckless driving, 15 registration violations and two open containers.

Officers completed 48 residence checks, 6,207 business checks, 138 church checks, assisted other departments nine times, completed 450 community patrols and received 80 hours in training.
