The Tryon Country Club Men’s Golf Association played a two best ball of four format on Monday, May 7, with perfect weather. The results are as follows:

First place – Mike Burrell, David Murphy, Bill McCall and Bill Kelly – 54

Second place – Bill Basye, Art Brown, Richard Connolly and Jim Diggs – 55

Third place – Jimmy McCain, Dennis Sakos, Richard Barraud and Bill Hillhouse – 58

Fourth place – Jerry Pospisil, George Torres, Jim Shirley and Barry Flood – 59 

Closest to the Pin on #3 – Jerry Perry – 13 feet, 3 inches

First place – Dennis Sakos – +3

Second place – Rody Dayvault – +3

Third place – Charles McKeller – +3

Fourth Place – Ken Shull – +3

Fifth place – Jim Diggs – +3
