The Tryon Presbyterian Women’s annual strawberry social will be held May 11 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The social is to benefit Thermal Belt Outreach. The event will include barbecue provided by Paul Ayers;  fixin’s and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Tickets are available at the church office or the day of the event.
