The Landrum Police Department issued nine traffic citations, including two speeding violations, one careless operation of a motor vehicle, one reckless driving, four seatbelt violations and one driving under suspension. Officers made no arrests.

Criminal

The Landrum Police Department issued four criminal citations including one for malicious damage to personal property, one for illegal transport of liquor, one hit and run with property damage and one for simple possession of marijuana. Officers made four arrests.

Criminal investigations

The Landrum Police Department investigated 11 criminal cases in December, including two assault cases, three cases for recovery of counterfeit money, one emergency protective custody case, one possession of a firearm by violent offender, one shoplifting case, two suicide threats and one welfare check.

Additional Landrum Police Department activities included four accident reports, three funeral escorts and 25 warning citations.
