Carolina Chamber of Commerce to host pair of ribbon cuttings this week

Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce will hold ribbon-cutting ceremonies for two of its newest members this week.
The first will take place Thursday at Chateau Blinds, located at 158 N. Trade St. in downtown Tryon. People are invited to welcome owners Jeff and Diane Patterson to both the local community and to Polk County.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Jeff has been doing blinds for over 20 years, with experience in sales, installations and repairs. He is a certified consultant with Hunter Douglas.
The store will carry other major name brands like Alta, Pinnacle, Norman and Caco.
The second will take place Carbucks of Carolina Inc., located at 1742 South Carolina Highway 14, Landrum. The celebration will begin at 11 a.m., with the cutting taking place at noon.
Food, snacks and drinks will be available.
Carbucks of Carolina does loans on cars, trucks, motorcycles, semis, commercial vehicles and boats.
