During the month of January 2018, the Tryon Fire Department responded to 68 calls for service.

Calls included 28 EMS, seven public service, two assist local government, three false fire alarms, 11 hazardous condition trees down, five hazardous condition power lines, one hazardous condition propane leak, one motor vehicle accident with property damage, one cover Columbus Fire Department, one structure fire in Tryon, one structure fire in Columbus and seven overhaul structure fire in Tryon.
