Anthony Brock receives Green Creek Firefighter of the Year

Department presented firefighters awards for 2017
GREEN CREEK-The Green Creek Fire & Rescue presented firefighters with awards for 2017 on Saturday, Jan. 20.
Firefighter and officer of the year was presented to Anthony Brock.
Mike Webster was given first responder of the year, while Kyle Crawford received most improved; Tyler Schlabach received the most training hours (295 hours) and Mike Webster received most calls answered (363 calls).
Green Creek firefighters were also awarded for years of service over the weekend, including Coy Painter (35 years), Nicholas Edwards (15 years) and Jennifer Yoder (10 years).
There were also nine firefighters recognized as Lifetime Members for serving the department for more than 20 years. Green Creek Fire Lifetime members are William Henry Page, James Jolley, Michael Jolley, Coy Painter, Danny Painter, Earl Lee Stott, Kenneth Jolley, Lambert Ridings and Reggie Brown.
The Green Creek Fire & Rescue responded to 588 calls in 2017.
