POLK COUNTY – A woman from Inman, S.C. is currently in the Spartanburg County Jail after being caught in Polk County for intending to sell and deliver methamphetamine, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Lindsey Michelle Wood, 28, of 252 Jolley Rd., Inman, S.C. is being held by Spartanburg County under an $84,000 bond for drug charges stemming from Inman, according to sheriff reports.
Charges are pending in Polk County on Wood for possession with the intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Capt. Lowell Griffin.
Griffin said on Jan. 1, the Polk County PACE (Polk Aggressive Criminal Enforcement) Team conducted an investigation concerning the sale and delivery of methamphetamine in Polk County. The investigation, he said, netted methamphetamine and approximately $5,000 in cash from drug transactions, which were found in Wood’s possession.
Drug agents from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office joined Polk’s PACE Team, with the investigation continuing into Inman, where additional methamphetamine and marijuana were located in a residence there, Griffin said.
