TRYON – The Tryon Riding and Hunt Club is continuing with their tradition of putting on the Blockhouse Steeplechase this year. This year’s race taking place on April 14, will be the 72nd running of the historic chases.  

The Club is also sponsoring two new events this year, which are the Tryon Area Equestrian Summit in February and the Hunter Derby in June. 

Other events include: 

June 5-10 the 90th Annual Charity I Horse Show 

June 8 the Second Annual Carolinas Show Hunter Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony 

July 11-15 the Charity II Horse Show 

September 29 cross-country schooling day 

October 7 the 85th Annual Any an All Dog Show 

October 19-21 the 43rd Annual Horse Trials 

December 12 the 93rd TR&HC Member Meeting

January 6 2019 will be the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event.
