Small Business Saturday is being observed by a number of local small businesses in Polk County. One business in Columbus is opening for the second year. Local artists and crafters will open the Holiday Shoppe at 322 Mills Street in Columbus. Various local crafts and art will be offered for sale in the Holiday Shoppe.

Hours for the shop’s Saturday opening on Small Business Saturday will be 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Holiday Shoppe will be open on the weekends (Friday and Saturday) through the Christmas holiday season. Also, local food snacks will be offered to our customers.

Small Business Saturday is an increasingly important economic engine for independent businesses. We encourage shoppers to support their local businesses not only on Small Business Saturday, but all year long.
