On protest, the President and progress

I have been a naturalized American citizen for 60 years and I am proud of our flag and country.
I don’t wish but demand that people stand and reflect on what it stands for. For all the people that died for our freedom and secured our safety.
You want to protest, that’s your right, but do it on your own time without pay.
Our President is not a lawyer but a business man. And you may not like his hair or speech or whatever, but he is an outsider and does not belong to the special Club of Washington. Those who only worry about their own jobs, pensions, and voters, not us the people.
Because he is not a politician, and does not want to belong, he is his own man and does what he thinks is correct and prosperous for our country. The career politicians block him every chance they get.
Do we need the wall? Do we need to screen who is coming in? You bet we do. Should we stand together and support and our President even when we have different views or affiliation? Should we learn to think with our brain and not with our heart? You bet we should.
I do not belong to either the Democrat or Republican Party, I am Independent and vote for whom I think is good for our country. I am not a liberal or conservative, I am for progress and helping the deserving.
This letter is not about right or wrong, just an opinion that you may want to discuss and form your own opinion.
