Everyone is invited to the next Partnership with Horses meeting Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Green Creek Fire Department, 8645 South Highway 9. Rachel Land and Clare Summers, who rode in the Mongol Derby, will speak about their incredible journey to Mongolia. These women rode 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) in 10 days. It is the world’s longest and toughest horse race. There is a suggested donation that will go to Heroes and Horses. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
