In a Polk County Superior Court Administrative Session on Oct. 11, 2017, with Judge Mark E. Powell presiding, 89 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Orianna Moriah Hummel was convicted of attempted forged instrument and common law forgery. Hummel was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Ronald George Regan was convicted of felony possession of marijuana. Regan was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.

Kristen Sims Watkins was convicted of two counts of obtaining property-worthless check. Watkins was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $4,795 in restitution and court costs.
