Massage is no longer just pampering, it can be a vital part of your self-care regimen, along with exercise and good nutrition. Medical research has proven that therapeutic massage is beneficial for relieving of stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, high blood pressure, neck pain, arthritis, lower back pain, chemo-related nausea, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, migraine, sinus and tension headaches, fibromyalgia and more – alone or in conjunction with standard treatments. Massage also improves athletic performance, and can help improve balance and circulation in older adults.
