The Polk County Memorial Auxiliary to VFW Post #9116 (Columbus Post) will

sponsor a seminar at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, on the second floor of the Womack Building (Courtroom) in Columbus.

The seminar will be given by VA Officer Larry Fowler from the Charles George VA Hospital located in Asheville, titled, “If I Should Die Before I Wake….” The program will inform veterans and veterans’ family members of information they need to be buried or to help when the need to bury a veteran occurs. The seminar will help others with arrangements other than Veterans, if you need some information. The public is invited, and it is free.
