For the month of September 2017, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 708 calls for service.

There were 16 felony arrests, 30 misdemeanor arrests and 35 citations.

Officers completed 957 house checks, 3,035 business checks, 1,637 church checks, assisted the public 10 times, served 66 civil papers, 41 criminal papers and patrolled 29,140 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 58 inmates, including 48 males and 10 females.
