Students at Polk County High School spruced up the front yard of the school Wednesday afternoon. Isaac Edwards and Grayson Jones said as part of their Agriculture Production II class, they help beautify the school grounds. “We learn about farms including cattle goats and swine,” Edwards said about the class. Polk County agriculture teacher Chauncey Barber said in addition to learning about farm animals, the students learn about soil, plants and agriculture mechanics.
