Wolverine tennis team blanks East Henderson

- Polk County senior Bella Marino won both her singles and doubles matches on Tuesday.
Polk County’s girls tennis team continued its winning ways Tuesday, blanking East Henderson 9-0 in a non-conference home match.
The Wolverines improved to 6-2 with the win. Polk County is slated to return to the court Wednesday against Crest.
Hannah Jenne, Tana Harris, Bella Marino and Virginia Rostick each earned 10-2 singles wins, with Haven Dufford and Julia Griffin recording 10-3 singles victories.
Dufford and Marino teamed for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles, with Trinity Branham and Ava Marino winning 9-7 at No. 2 doubles and Willow Arkell and Sara Muse posting an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.
