Four Polk County Wolverines will be part of head coach Jamie Thompson’s Region 8 squad that began play Tuesday in the 2017 Powerade State Games of North Carolina. Rising seniors Haley Fowler, Maranda Gosnell, Autumn Owen and Karli Wood (right) were part of the squad representing counties west of Rutherford in the eight-team competition in Greensboro.
