Kathy Toomey, broker in charge of New View Realty, has recently added three brokers to her sales team. Toomey said that the additions will play a vital role in her growth plans as New View Realty ramps up to meet the ever expanding real estate market.

Toomey said that it is also imperative that New View Realty stays up to date with the latest advancements in the real estate industry. “I believe it is important for New View Realty to be ahead of the industry trends with regards to computer technology, photography and business communications,” said Toomey.

Kirk Gollwitzer moved to Polk County 10 years ago. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Gollwitzer owned and operated a large-scale custom software development company in Greenville. He attended the University of South Carolina and earned a degree in business/finance. Gollwitzer also stays active in the community as the co-founder of the Tryon International Film Festival, a contributing writer at the Tryon Daily Bulletin, and in music, entertainment and the arts. He also enjoys his life on a working horse farm in Mill Spring.

Sandra Jimison, daughter of two University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill faculty members, followed the natural path to western Carolina University where she earned a degree in media arts. Afterward, seeking gainful employment in her chosen field, she accepted a position in the South Carolina school system where she met her soul mate and soon-to-be husband, Jim.  They spent the next thirty-some years in and around Beaufort County, S.C. In addition to real estate licenses in North and South Carolina, Sandra has additional training and certification in Short Sale and Foreclosure Resourcing (SFR) and Military Relocation Professional (MRP).

John Toomey moved to North Carolina from the Albany/Saratoga area of upstate New York and has lived in Tryon since 1999. Toomey earned a degree in information technology at Albany Business College. Toomey’s work experience includes information technology and over 28 years in the direct marketing industry, working with direct mail, print and online media. Outside interests include volunteering for local nonprofit organizations as well as golfing, fly fishing and taking care of their rescued animals, three cats and two dogs.
