LANDRUM – The Landrum Area Business Association has requested volunteers for the upcoming Easter egg hunt at Landrum Library on Saturday, March 25 and the second annual car show on North Trade Avenue on Saturday, April 29.

The Easter egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. at the Landrum Library. Volunteers are needed to help place eggs and assist with children’s activities like face painting and candy giveaways.

This year, businesses will have their individual Easter baskets at their locations rather than at the library. Magan Etheridge, president of the LABA, said businesses that do not operate in Landrum like ServiceMaster out of Spartanburg can ask the LABA to purchase a pre-made Easter basket at Fred’s and have it at Landrum City Hall instead.

The LABA is also sponsoring the second annual car show on North Trade Avenue on April 29, with car registration beginning at 10 a.m. Pre-registration costs $15 and $20 on the day of the show. The organization is still looking for business sponsors and the application deadline for sponsorship is March 17.

The LABA will need help from volunteers with parking cars, registering vehicles for the show and selling raffle tickets. For more information, contact Christie Gregory at 864-444-0903 or christiegregory38@yahoo.com.
