Hunter Jumper Schooling Show at Harmon Field March 4

Published 10:00 pm Tuesday, February 28, 2017

A hunter/jumper horse show will take place at Harmon Field Saturday March 4, starting at 9 a.m. Riders are invited to come shake off the winter’s dust and kick off the new 2017 show season.

Classes will be offered for leadline through three foot hunters and jumpers. The Carolina Schooling Series will host the show. The show will operate on a two ring schedule, with walk/trot through pre-short stirrup in the Lehner ring and two feet beginner hunters through three feet jumpers in the Spencer Ring.

As a non-profit organization, the Carolina Schooling Series is staffed primarily by volunteers. In its third year, the series is dedicated to providing an affordable horse show experience for emerging riders and horses. It provides an opportunity for beginning riders to learn and grow, as well as more advanced riders and horses to tune-up for the bigger shows.
