Landrum city council, their families and Mayor Robert Briggs hosted a walk at Brookwood Park Saturday morning, Jan. 21 with Molly Talbot-Metz of the Mary Black Foundation as part of the Healthy Community 50 program involving 50 communities in South Carolina. Initiated by the Mary Black Foundation, this event was held in Spartanburg, Landrum, Greer, Pacolet, Inman and Woodruff simultaneously Saturday morning. Talbot-Metz said she and city council officials plan to do the event again in the spring.
