The Tryon Downtown Development Association has installed a temporary board at the clock tower downtown to allow the public to describe what they wish for downtown. This input will be used for TDDA’s upcoming market analysis, slated to be released in January.
The public is welcome to write their “wishes” or resolutions for the future, coinciding with the Tryon Midnight celebration on December 31. Tryon Midnight is a Polk County Community Foundation Free Community Event, and will feature live music, free food, fun and games. Or, you can submit your “wishes” online at downtowntryon.org/wishlist.
All input will be documented for future planning as the Tryon Downtown Development Association continues their mission to enhance the community of Tryon through a downtown economic revitalization program that focuses on promotion, streetscape design, and historic preservation.
TDDA has worked toward downtown revitalization for over 20 years in partnership with the Town of Tryon, organizations and board, local businesses, and with the support of the Polk County Community Foundation.
