► New store moves in St Luke’s Thrift Shop space
EquiTreasures, a closeout store formerly located in the Shops of Tryon for two months in the summer, has just opened in the old St. Luke’s Thrift Store location. It still offers closeouts but also some new items, gifts and jewelry. In addition, the shop specializes in equestrian clothes, jewelry and gifts. Most of the jewelry is made or designed by the owner. ► Rutherford Regional names new CEO
Rutherford Regional Health System has announced that Rebecca Segal has been named chief executive officer of the hospital, effective Jan. 16, 2017. Segal brings more than
15 years of healthcare experience to the region, including serving as chief operating officer of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky., administrator of Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, Va., and Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, W.Va., and as a manger in patient access/accounts at Mary Washington Healthcare System in Fredericksburg, Va. Segal has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg and a master of health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.
