Mary Jane Beers Gresham

Mary Jane Beers Gresham’s heart failed her, Dec. 12, 2016, at home at her son‘s in Savannah, Ga., at the age of 94. She was amazing to the end.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, John C. (Jack) Gresham, Mary Jane was the last of her generation. Jack and Mary Jane lived most of their lives in Schenectady, N.Y. and Sterling, Mass. She lived at Tryon Estates in Tryon, N.C. for several years. She will be interred with Jack at the National Veterans Cemetery in Schuylerville, N.Y.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, Robert J. Gresham (Carolyn) of Windsor, Conn., Jean G. Boles Bills (Richard) of Mill Spring, N.C., Dr. Douglas G. Gresham (Elise) of Savannah, Ga., five grandchildren and her devoted cat, Oreo. To succeeding generations, her nieces and nephews, and friends, she leaves wishes for happy and healthy lives.
