Polk County District Court results for Nov. 9

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 71 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Chris Kenneth Humphries was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia, level five driving while impaired and resisting public officer. Humphries was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail with credit for time service, $250 in fines and court costs.
Chareles Tod Kiste was convicted of two counts of failure to notify DMV of address change. Kiste was fined $50 and court costs.
William Mitchel Owenby was convicted of failure to comply with monies. Owenby was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Randall Lee Sahms was convicted of possession of stolen goods/property. Sahms was sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for time served.
Katelynn Hope Sides was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Sides was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
